This policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on burakengineering.com.tr. It has been prepared on the basis of Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and related legislation, following a review of the technologies actually in use on our site, and it is aligned with the principles of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 3. Our Core Principle: No Analytics Without Consent

• Essential & preference cookies — Required for our cookie consent tool (WPConsent) to remember your choices and for our site infrastructure (LiteSpeed caching/security) to work properly. These cookies do not require consent and do not create personal profiles.
• Analytics cookies (consent-based) — Google Analytics 4 (GA4) reports which pages of the site are visited and general usage statistics using anonymised measurements. Activated only if you give your consent.
• Third-party content cookies — Our showcase videos are embedded using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie); when you play a video, YouTube may set its own cookies. Our online meeting scheduler, Calendly, may use its own cookies when you open the booking window. Our WhatsApp contact link does not set any cookies; it simply takes you directly to the WhatsApp app.

8. International Data Transfers

Within the analytics and third-party content categories, data may be processed on servers located abroad and operated by Google (Google Analytics, YouTube) and Calendly. Because cookies in these categories are activated only with your explicit consent, any related transfer likewise takes place solely on the basis of that consent. If you do not consent, no data is transferred to these providers via cookies.

9. Your Rights Under KVKK and the GDPR

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to: learn whether your personal data is being processed; request information if it has been processed; learn the purpose of the processing and whether your data is used in line with that purpose; know the third parties to whom your data is transferred, in Turkey or abroad; request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; request its deletion or destruction; object to any result arising against you from analysis carried out exclusively by automated systems; and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing. If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you enjoy equivalent rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR, including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection.
